Sling-Shots Lit (1985)

These are light box assemblages with lithography and screenprinting on Mylar sheets that operate like window shades. The imagery comes from Rauschenberg's own photographs of locations around the world. He started the series in the summer of 1984 and signed the works in 1985. They were published by Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles.
